On October 13th, DGTA acknowledged Fire Prevention week with a visit from Hillside Fire Department. The students learned about fire safety skills, the importance of having working smoking detectors, and much more. They were able to view the inner workings of the fire rigs, as well as an ambulance that Hillside FD brought along. It was a beautiful morning filled with learning, fun, and community partnership here at Deanna G.Taylor Academy.
