On April 25, 2024, the Deanna G. Taylor Academy was abuzz with excitement as they hosted their annual Bring Your Child to Work Day. This year, the theme was "Husky Hero for a Day," promising a day filled with creativity, innovation, and fun for the young participants.
The day began with a guided tour showcasing classrooms and special area places, while meeting staff members, scholars, and our DGTA Student President and Vice President. Throughout the day, the children engaged in hands-on activities designed to spark their imagination and intellectual abilities. They delved into gardening, and witnessed the E-Stem Team "Posture Tracker Device"! The academy buzzed with energy as the young minds eagerly absorbed new skills and knowledge.
As the day came to a close, each child was proudly presented with a certificate, a visit to the Husky Den and gardening gift to celebrate our Earth Day!
