Today, Friday January 10th our scholars engaged in the Hillside Scholastic R.E.A.L. Mentor Reading Event !
At this event, every student read a book with a community mentor or their classroom teacher. Scholars will bring home the book (2) study guides: student and family!
With the support of our wonderful community partners, we’re working to create a lasting joy of reading that travels from school to home. Reading for just 20 minutes each night with your child helps develop curiosity, expand vocabulary, and strengthen critical thinking skills—key to academic success. We’re thrilled to continue building a strong foundation of literacy for all our students.
